All new and expecting parents and caregivers are invited to join us on September 26 at Amesbury High School, from 1pm to 3pm, for a fun day full of connection and tons of free stuff! 🍼🛍️🧸Families can meet these wonderful organizations that will help support the parenting journey. Did we mention there will be FREE raffle baskets? 🎉🎟️

We are still collecting baby items for the Bright Beginnings Community Baby Shower! If you have a baby item that deserves a second home, we are happily accepting donations for expecting and new families across the Merrimack Valley.

What we need:

1. Gently used baby gear (strollers, highchairs, pack 'n plays)
2. Clothes (Newborn-2T), blankets, and crib sheets
3. Board books, picture books, and clean toys
4. New and unopened diapers, wipes, and formula

How to help: You can drop off your items at any of our partner locations listed on the flyer below (including libraries and town halls in Newburyport, Amesbury, Groveland, Rowley, Georgetown, and Merrimac!).

All donations will be distributed at our baby shower event on September 26, 2026. Please share this post to help us spread the word and make our community stronger together! 💕🍼

We spent the day at Live Well Day in Amesbury, enjoying the opportunity to connect with local residents, share more about what we do, and spread the word about our upcoming Baby Shower Event! 🍼💙
A huge thank you to the Amesbury Lions Club for having us and for putting together such a wonderful community event. We loved being part of it!

The Merrimack Valley Public Health Alliance is hosting a Community Baby Shower on September 26th at Amesbury High School from 1–3 p.m. Each family will receive a tote bag with essential baby items and a community resource guide (while supplies last).

Want to pitch in? There’s a donation drop box just inside the back (North) entrance of City Hall. Parking for that entrance is available in the 1–5 Market Street lot, next to the bank drive through. It’s a great chance to support new and expecting families right here in the Merrimack Valley.

Happily accepting:
• Gently used clothing, crib sheets, blankets, and shoes (newborn–2T)
• Board books and picture books
• New, unopened diapers, wipes, and formula
• Clean, gently used toys with all their parts

Every donation helps a family get off to a strong start.
