Hello, community! We have a lot of new faces around here, so we thought we’d reintroduce ourselves!

Evolve Counseling is a small, private practice owned and founded by Heather Sniezek. Evolve started after seeing a real need for consistent, quality counseling right here in Lorain County.

What started as a solo practice has grown into an amazing team of clinicians who all share the same heart- meeting the mental health needs in our community, genuinely caring for our clients, and helping people heal in deep and meaningful ways.

At the end of the day, we’re a local, family-owned small business. We’re family focused, community focused, and really thankful we get to do this work in the community we call home.

So, hi from the Sniezek family! Thanks for being here and supporting Evolve and our incredible team of clinicians!

ACTION NEEDED

Providers across Ohio are currently experiencing widespread recoupments from Medicaid plans, dating back YEARS after payment was issued. The plans have said they have been ‘overpaying’ for services and are recouping thousands upon thousands of dollars from clinicians statewide.

These clawbacks:

* Undermine provider stability
* Create financial hardship for small practices, families, and our community
* Risk reduced access to care for Medicaid clients

We are actively:

* Filing complaints with Ohio Department of Medicaid
* Contacting legislators and state officials
* Exploring legal avenues
