“Kids do well if they can.” - Ross Greene

I believe in this mantra with every fiber of my being. If a kid is not doing well, it is because they lack the skills needed to tackle whatever obstacle it is they are trying to overcome. I am passionate about building relationships as the foundation to cultivate a safe space of authentic learning to occur. Within this safe space, kids are able to quiet t

he distractions of life and connect to their hearts and minds, explore new ways of being, and feel empowered to make change. I have a Master of Science and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in School Psychology. I am also a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens Trainer and Yoga Teacher. I have experience working with young people with a range of challenges including learning differences, mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression, substance use challenges, self-harm behaviors, executive functioning challenges that arise from disorders such as ADHD and Autism, as well as those looking to develop more positive coping skills to navigate the stress they encounter in life. I am well versed in psychoeducational assessments and evaluations, as well as the laws and regulations public education settings are required to follow. It is critical to me that every single student is afforded an equitable opportunity for learning, while being treated with kindness and dignity. I strive to be culturally sensitive & operate from a person-first perspective. I am solution-focused and holistic in my approach when working with my clients. I operate from a wellness-based perspective, and enjoy connecting with people outside as much as possible. Please reach out if you think you or your child may benefit from working with me. I am happy to answer any questions you may have, as well as have a free, initial consultation to see if we are a good match. In the meantime, I wish you peace and joy in this very moment.

I never regret time in the woods. I hope you can find some time outside today, too. Namaste, friends. ⛰️💚

🚲 There are days when the best thing we can do for our nervous system is step outside.

Our brains spend so much of the day processing notifications, decisions, schedules, and constant stimulation.

Mother Nature gives us permission to step away from all of it, creating space for our minds and bodies to reset.

🌿 Where do you feel most connected to nature?

👀 Caught these two clocking into their full-time job as Neighborhood Watch!

While our human brains have become so used to constant stimulation, these two effortlessly practice something many of us have to intentionally cultivate: being present.

Sometimes mindfulness can be as simple as this, my friends! Sometimes it's just pausing long enough to notice the breeze moving through the trees, watching the birds at the feeder, or simply observing the world around you.

💭 Maybe your invitation today is to spend five minutes simply noticing what’s outside your window. Let me know what you find.

🧘‍♀️ One of the greatest gifts yoga has given me is learning how to listen to my body, and over time I've realized that practice doesn't end when I step off the mat. It influences the way I make decisions, the boundaries I set, and the moments I choose to pause instead of pushing through.

One of the most accessible ways to practice that kind of awareness is through your breath. When we slow down and regulate our nervous system, it's easier to notice what our bodies have been trying to tell us before we automatically react or override those signals.

👉 Interested in learning how? Breathe Like a Mountain is a 21 day guided breathwork journey designed to help you build that practice.

What if we’ve been asking the wrong question about education? 🌼
For a long time, I found myself asking, “What do children need to know?”
But over time, and honestly after becoming a mom, another question became much more important:
“Who will they become?” AND “What can I do to help them on their journey?”
These questions changed everything for me.
It led me to create the Wildflower Learning Collective - a learning community built around the belief that education should prepare children not just for the next grade, but for life.
Because when I think about what I want for children, the answer isn’t simply that they know more facts. Or obey a set of rules.

I want them to be confident enough to try something new.
Resilient enough to navigate challenges.
Curious enough to keep asking questions.
Compassionate enough to care for others.
And equipped with the executive functioning and emotional skills they’ll use every single day.
Those qualities aren’t developed by memorizing information.
They’re cultivated through meaningful experiences, supportive relationships, movement, mindfulness, play, and a community where children feel safe to grow. That’s what we’re creating at the Wildflower Learning Collective. Visit the link in our bio to learn more, or send me a DM. I’d love to share the vision behind Wildflower and hear what you’re dreaming of for your child. 💛

Taking care of ourselves means more than eating well or exercising. True wellness extends far beyond our physical health because every part of who we are needs care in a different way.

Our minds need moments of curiosity and rest. Our hearts need connection and compassion. Our souls need purpose, and our bodies need nourishment. The strongest foundation for well being comes from caring for every part of ourselves.

💭 As you swipe through, I hope it inspires you to ask yourself: Which part of me could use a little more nourishment today?

🏔️ These are the kinds of practices we'll be exploring together during our Embodied Wellness Weekend this October. Through movement, mindfulness, breathwork, and time in nature, we'll create opportunities to nourish every part of who you are.

How many of the decisions you make each day come from what you truly want... and how many come from habit, obligation, or the feeling that you should?

🇺🇸 With the 4th of July coming up, I found myself facing a tradition I've said yes to a lot: attending a local parade. Before committing this year, I paused and asked myself one simple question:

"Does this actually feel good in my body?"
The answer was no.
It wasn’t even a quiet no. It was a “hard pass” immediately felt in every fiber of my body. And this year, I am choosing to listen to and honor that response and not go.

👧🏻 Immediately after making that decision, I started to feel guilty. Worries about my kids being disappointed or limiting our already limited time together as a family swirled in my mind.

✨Luckily these thoughts didn’t last long and were quickly replaced with- they will see me honoring my body. They will see me forging a different tradition rooted in my authentic values. This will feel so much better for me which means I will be able to show up for my family with more intentional & grounded energy.

🤍 I know this may be a small example, but for me, it’s big. Can you relate? What’s one thing that you do out of habit or tradition or because you have put other people’s needs above your own? And is there space for you to say no thank you to that thing, in order to say YES to what actually feels good for your body? I would love to hear about it- share your story in the comments below. 🫶✨
