🩵 Your First Visit to Hope Counseling – What to Expect 🩵

Taking the step to see a licensed Christian counselor can feel overwhelming, but we want your very first appointment to be welcoming, comfortable, and encouraging.

📅 Scheduling Your Appointment
You can request an appointment by filling out our online form or calling us at (440) 370-3007. Our kind and friendly administrative staff will help you feel right at home. We will send you some forms to complete beforehand—this helps you prepare and allows your counselor to be ready for your session.

🏠 Our Office & Waiting Area
We’re located across from the Cleveland Clinic in Amherst, Ohio, on the north side of Route 2 near the Oak Point Road Exit. When you arrive, come through the front entrance—you’ll find two offices on the main level and one upstairs. Our waiting area offers coffee, tea, and water. We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early to settle in, grab a warm drink, and start your appointment on time.

At Hope Counseling, our prayer is that from the moment you step through our doors, you’ll feel cared for, supported, and encouraged to take the next step toward healing. 🕊️

☀️🌿 Summer often fills our calendars with vacations, camps, cookouts, and time with the people we love. These moments are gifts from God and deserve to be enjoyed. 💛

But in the midst of a busy season, it's easy to become so rushed that we miss the very things we're trying to make time for. Constant busyness can leave us exhausted, disconnected, and running on empty. 🏃‍♀️

Remember that rest is not a luxury, it is part of God's design for us. We all need space to slow down, breathe deeply, enjoy His creation, and be fully present with our family and friends. 🌳🦋🌸
