Public Health Update – Outbreak Over
We are pleased to share that all home areas at Helen Henderson Care Centre have been cleared by Southeast Public Health, effective immediately.
Masking is now optional, and regular visitation has resumed throughout the home.
To help keep everyone healthy, we kindly ask that you:
• Please do not visit if you are feeling unwell.
• Continue to practice good hand hygiene.
Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and support throughout the outbreak. Your commitment has helped us protect the health and well-being of our residents and staff.

Public Health Update – Respiratory Outbreak Status
We are pleased to share some positive news regarding the respiratory outbreak at Helen Henderson Care Centre.
Effective immediately, Southeast Public Health has declared the respiratory outbreaks over on Reception 1 and Reception 2. Regular visitation has resumed in these areas, and masking is now optional.
Reception 3 remains on outbreak status. At this time, visitation is limited to Designated Essential Caregivers only, and masking continues to be mandatory in this area.
To help protect the health and well-being of our residents, staff, and visitors, we kindly ask:
• Do not visit if you are feeling unwell.
• Continue to practice good hand hygiene by cleaning your hands when entering and leaving the home, as well as before and after visiting a resident.
We appreciate the patience, understanding, and support of our residents, families, caregivers, and staff as we continue to work closely with Southeast Public Health.
Our next update will be provided on Tuesday, Aug. 4, following further consultation with Southeast Public Health.
