Astrologically, The Fourth of July falls in the heart of Cancer season.

The archetype of Cancer is the Mother. As the days just begin to grow shorter, we move towards Yin and honoring the journey back inward. Cancer season is rooted in the element of water, the space from which all of life was created and born. This is a potent time for honoring family, intuition, nurturing, protective guiding energy… all aspects of what the Mother holds space for- HOME. This country is our home- a beautiful land representative of bounty and freedom. And still there are many here who need to be seen, honored and protected- given the same rights and freedom as all who live here. 🙏

I hope you find some time today to ponder what home means to you. Over here, we honor the water by dressing up like magical sea creatures. 🌊✨🔮

We had a beautiful Summer Solstice Sound Ceremony yesterday. Honoring the light, we used frequency (which is in fact what light is) to return coherence and illuminate our heart desires.

We have reached the precipice: Summer Solstice- a day which marks the beginning of summer. A day when, over any other day of the year, the sun burns for the longest and brightest period of time in the sky.

Fire. The element associated with the solstice and the beginning of Summer. Fire is Powerful. Strong. Passionate. Creative. Joyful. Illumination. The kind of love that comes and sweeps you off your feet. Fire can also be angry. And destructive. And necessary.

You are a phoenix. Burning it down time and time again. Each time returning more powerful and beautiful than before.

You cannot rise from the top
You must rise from the bottom
That empty space
Where burning embers of what was
Are all the remain
This is where you draw strength
To be reborn.
To muster up a fire within your soul
And rise.
