Help local children build stronger communication skills while enjoying a community picnic by the water.

Join us for the 5th Annual San Francisco Picnic for a Cause on Saturday, September 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Marina Park in San Leandro.

The suggested donation is $30. Children age 12 and under are admitted free.

Net proceeds benefit the San Francisco State Scottish Rite Childhood Language Program, which provides speech, language, literacy, and occupational therapy services to children at no cost to their families.

Join us for the 2026 San Diego Challenge Cup Golf Tournament, proudly sponsored by Bryan Billauer Kozo.

The tournament will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Admiral Baker Golf Facility South Course. The day begins with an 8:00 AM shotgun start and includes a scramble format, longest drive contest, closest to the pin, and the Drive it Like Rory Challenge.

Net proceeds benefit the RiteCare Childhood Language Center of San Diego, which provides speech-language therapy at no cost to families.

Suggested donation: $125 per player or $500 per foursome.

The California Scottish Rite Foundation is helping San Francisco State University expand clinical training for future speech-language professionals and increase access to diagnostic and therapy services for children and families.

The partnership supports the work of the Nicholas Certo Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic, where graduate clinicians receive supervised clinical experience while members of the community receive important services.

This is the long-term impact of partnership. More families have opportunities to access care, and more students can prepare to enter a profession where qualified clinicians are urgently needed.
