Today’s Team Spotlight features Katie McCray, Board-Certified Physician Assistant at West Chambers Medical Center!

Katie provides care in family medicine, pediatrics, and minor surgical procedures, helping patients and families access a wide range of care close to home.

Patients describe Katie as caring, attentive, knowledgeable, and thorough. Several have shared how much they appreciate the time she takes to listen, understand their concerns, and make them feel like their health truly matters.

One longtime patient shared that Katie has cared for them through many different health concerns over the years and continues to impress them with her knowledge and dedication. Another praised her attentiveness and willingness to look for the best ways to help them stay healthy.

Those experiences speak to the kind of relationship-centered care we strive to provide at Chambers Health.

From routine family medicine and pediatric visits to ongoing care and minor procedures, Katie continues to be a trusted provider for many patients in the West Chambers community.

Chambers Health partners with The Rose Mammography Bus and offers grant programs to help cover screening costs for those who are underinsured or uninsured.

Sierra Hinton, PA-C believes patients should feel empowered, supported, and confident in their healthcare decisions. Her approach centers on partnership, taking the time to explain options clearly and help patients navigate what can often feel like an overwhelming system.

Continuing our Meet the Team series, today we’re highlighting Dr. W. Bradley Pokorny, who cares for patients at Bayside Clinic and Dayton Clinic.

Dr. Pokorny brings more than 15 years of medical experience to Chambers Health, with a background in family medicine, osteopathic medicine, and military service as a U.S. Navy Flight Surgeon.

During his time in the Navy, he cared for service members and aviation personnel, providing comprehensive medical care and helping ensure the health and readiness of those who serve our country.

Today, he continues that commitment to service by caring for families here in Chambers and Liberty County.

Dr. Pokorny’s passion for medicine began when he was just nine years old after breaking his leg. The orthopedic surgeon who treated him took the time to teach him about the human body and include him in his care — an experience that sparked a lifelong love of science and medicine.

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Pokorny believes the mind, body, and spirit are interconnected and that treating the whole person is essential to helping patients feel their best.

When he’s not in the clinic, he enjoys cooking, gardening, golfing, traveling with his family, and cheering on the University of Florida Gators. Fun fact: he’s a self-trained chef who loves baking breads and pastries.

For Dr. Pokorny, the most rewarding part of medicine is getting to know his patients and being part of their lives and families.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our Chambers Health team is showing their support with Pink Out Fridays all month long!

Our Bayside Community Hospital crew brought the pink this Friday, reminding us that awareness, early detection, and supporting those affected by breast cancer are always in style. 💕

We love seeing our team come together for a cause that touches so many lives!
