Surgery can feel overwhelming, especially when fear and uncertainty are part of the process.

One of the most important parts of patient care is making sure people feel informed, heard, and supported, not rushed through it.

We’re grateful to patients who trust our team with their care and take the time to share their experience afterward.

If you have questions about a procedure or upcoming evaluation, our office is here to help!

We’ve received many questions regarding TriWest and Veterans Affairs (VA) coverage, and we wanted to share an update with our community.

Our office is currently working through the process of becoming a participating provider with both TriWest and the VA. While coverage is not yet active at this time, this is something actively being pursued and we will continue sharing updates as they become available.

We appreciate your patience and support throughout the process.

If you have questions, please contact our office at (907) 276-1046.

A lot of men are used to pushing through discomfort, staying busy, and waiting until something starts interfering with work, sleep, or everyday life before getting evaluated.

In honor of Men's Health Month, we’ll be sharing more education around symptoms, surgical conditions, recovery, and the importance of paying attention to changes early.

Not every hernia can be repaired the same way.

Some patients come in after multiple surgeries with large or recurrent hernias that have significantly changed the abdominal wall and impacted daily function. These cases require a more advanced, individualized approach.

Dr. Muffoletto specializes in complex hernia surgery and robotic techniques designed to handle these challenging cases with precision.
