It’s Mayor’s Marathon week! 🏃‍♀️🫎

The Anchorage Mayor's Marathon has been an iconic summer solstice tradition for over 50 years, and always, we love welcoming our local community and visiting runners alike to town for this incredible event.

Our friends at Saucony and Shokz are joining the fun this week! Here’s where to find us this week ⬇️

🍻 Thursday Pub Run, starting at SRS Downtown and ending at Anchorage Downtown Partnership Live After 5 concert series 🎶 with Saucony demos!
🛍️ Event Expo at the Alaska Airlines Center

➡️ Friday 10AM-3PM
⏰ Normal hours at both locations! Swing by for all your race day needs or snag some Run AK gear to rep the 49th state back to the lower 48.

Week 2️⃣ of the Chugach Classics Challenge kicks off tomorrow! This week we’re tackling Baldy/Blacktail in Eagle River. At the end of the week we’ll draw a lucky winner for a pair of trail shoes courtesy of Saucony⚡️(this week’s winners announced tomorrow!)

How to participate to be eligible for weekly raffle:
⛰️ Join 2026 Skinny Raven Chugach Classics Challenge Strava Club
⛰️ Tackle the provided route and record using your connected smartwatch or Strava app
⛰️ Ensure your activity uploads to Strava and visibility settings on the activity are set to “visible to everyone.” if you have a private profile. This way, your activity will show up in the group activity feed and you’ll be counted automatically.
❗️ YOU DON’T NEED TO MANUALLY POST YOUR ACTIVITY as a “post” IN THE GROUP TO BE COUNTED! But you’re welcome to do so for the stoke.
❗️Tag us in your summit selfies on Instagram for an extra entry into the raffle!
❗️REMEMBER: Participation in this challenge is FREE, at your own risk, and primarily intended to get you into the mountains to have some fun!

Community Highlight: Alaska Men's Run - June 13

Join the 31st Annual Alaska Men's Run on June 13th at Kincaid Park for a 5 mile run or a 2 mile walk! This event is one of the oldest in the state, raising funds and awareness to fund educational activities, health awareness, promote early detection, and provide financial aid to patients and agencies fighting prostate and testicular cancer.

The first 200 participants will score an Alaska Men's Run T-shirt! Participants may also elect not to receive a shirt and donate that towards the cause.
