Join Alaska Children's Trust today live on Facebook for a nonpartisan forum where gubernatorial candidates Dave Bronson, Treg Taylor, and Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins will share their plans and priorities for supporting Alaska's youngest residents. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about issues affecting children and families across our state.

Alaska's general election is two weeks away!

Voting is an important opportunity for every Alaskan to make their voice heard, including people who experience disabilities, who may need accommodations, accessible information, or assistance to exercise their right to vote. Assistance can take many forms, from helping someone register to vote or request an absentee ballot to arranging transportation to a polling location. Any support should respect each person’s independence and preferences.

Important Election Dates:
• Yesterday, October 19: Early voting began
• Saturday, October 24: Deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail
• Tuesday, November 3: General Election Day

Make a plan to vote! Find polling locations, check your registration, and explore voting options through the Alaska Division of Elections. Every voice matters. Every vote counts.

Today is Indigenous Peoples Day, a holiday observed every October that celebrates Native people and cultures. Here in Alaska, we’re so fortunate to be surrounded by such rich cultures, traditions, stories, and histories that continue to shape our communities. And we’re grateful for the Alaska Native people and families who are part of Hope and the many ways they make our communities stronger.
