"As a 30 year veteran Physical Therapist I have grown my skills and knowledge to the level of expert all at AFOC. This was not something I had recognized in myself until a colleague at a conference introduced me as an expert in total joint rehab. That was the first time and a sudden realization that my knowledge meant something. That introduction served as a catalyst to motivate me to pursue a transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certificate in Rehabilitation Administration with the University of Montana through Rehab Essential. When you sign on to be a healthcare provider you also sign on to life long learning and development. I wanted to use my brain scholastically again and advance my credentials to be in line with new graduates but to also open up avenues for sharing my years of practice in out patient orthopedics at a collegiate level. It was well worth it and while my Master's in Physical Therapy was arduous, the transitional DPT is very satisfying. I am dedicated to providing evidence based treatment and fostering students to know the level of purpose one can find in the profession of Physical Therapy. Let the learning continue!"
