Uterine fibroids are common non-cancerous growths that can develop during a woman’s childbearing years. While some women may not experience symptoms, others may have challenges such as heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, frequent urination, or difficulty becoming pregnant.

A myomectomy is a procedure that removes fibroids while leaving the uterus intact. This option may be recommended for women who are experiencing symptoms or who want to preserve the possibility of future pregnancy.

At Women’s Care of Alaska, our experienced gynecology team takes the time to understand your concerns, provide a thorough evaluation, and discuss treatment options that align with your health goals.

If fibroids are affecting your quality of life, support and treatment options are available.

Female infertility is defined as the inability to become pregnant after one year of regular, unprotected intercourse—or after six months for women over 35. At Women’s Care of Alaska, we understand how emotionally challenging this journey can be, and we are here to help guide you every step of the way.

Infertility can result from a variety of factors affecting ovulation, the fallopian tubes, or the uterus. Common contributors may include hormonal imbalance, PCOS, endometriosis, or age-related changes in fertility.

We take a comprehensive, compassionate approach to evaluation and treatment, ensuring each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

If you’ve been trying to conceive without success, early evaluation can make a meaningful difference in your care options.

📞 Call (907) 279-2273 to schedule an infertility consultation.

Since female infertility can be caused by several different factors, our fertility specialists will create a treatment plan specifically for your needs.
