❤️‍🩹Even when all things go wrong, how can you modify to maintain consistency?

1️⃣ Shift from “Sweat” to “Movement”: Exhausted? Swap the high-intensity workout for 15 minutes of gentle stretching or a slow walk. Keep the habit, drop the pressure.
2️⃣ Work Around Injuries: A hurt knee doesn’t mean your upper body stops working. Pivot to seated weights or core work. Do what you can do.
3️⃣ Take “Exercise Snacks”: No time for a full workout? Break it into 5-minute bursts. 20 squats while dinner cooks or stretching during commercial breaks absolutely counts.
4️⃣ Count “Active Life”: Gardening, Carrying a sick toddler, or deep-cleaning the house is an athletic event. Give yourself credit for the physical work you’re already doing!
5️⃣ Swap to Mental Training: Genuinely too sick or tired to move safely? Use that time for 5 minutes of deep breathing or foam rolling. Resting with intention is still progress.

❤️‍🩹Drop the “all-or-nothing” mindset. On the hard days, doing 1% is infinitely better than doing 0%.

🫪You’re not gonna believe how many actual activities happen in the last weeks. No one prepped us for this side of motherhood.
🙌I applaud you. You survived May-cember and still showed up for yourself between all of the hustle.
📚The sports practices, teacher appreciation, doctor appointments, graduation, awards days & countless theme days between multiple kids.
Oh yeah, and a Happy Mother’s Day wrapped in there too.

This is why you need to come to pelvic therapy before any major “pelvic happening” (surgery, childbirth, etc.) in your life! We give education based on a whole person approach.
Add these few things to your pre-op tool kit:
💩 Magnesium citrate
🦠 Vaginal probiotic 👀 for: Lactobacillus crispatus, L. rhamnosus GR-1, L. reuteri RC-14, L. gasseri, and L. jensenii.
🌊 Vaginal moisturizer with hyaluronic
🤗 Chewing gum
