Sometimes our minds can run away without us and leave us feeling confused, frustrated, and alone. Anxiety can be a beast on the best of days, but we still have the power to take control and overcome the spiral that happens when we are scared and unsure. We are so excited to be able to let this cat out of the bag. We will be partnering with Laykin and Covington OBGYN to offer in-office medication evaluations and management. This is such an exciting time in the growth of our little therapy practice.

Laykin is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of nursing experience caring for patients in emergency medicine, critical care, hospice, and primary care settings. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and providing compassionate, evidence-based care focused on the whole person.

Beginning August 10, Laykin will be accepting men, women, and children of all ages for primary care, preventive care, chronic disease management, and medical weight loss services. Laykin will also be working closely with Kindred Harmony Counseling to provide medication evaluations and ongoing medication management, allowing patients to receive coordinated behavioral health care all in one location. She is excited to serve our community and looks forward to helping you and your family achieve your healthiest lives.

How to get in touch with us when you can't get through on the phone? Please send us an email. This email is monitored by everyone in our office, and someone will get back to you ASAP. Please allow 48 hours for a return phone call, as we do not always have an office staff member on site. We want to thank each and every one of you for your continued patience and support as we have been working hard to launch a practice that fulfills the needs of our precious community. Sometimes your therapist has to take their own advise. Self-care time tonight includes coloring and watching a tride and true. Letting go of the stresses of adulthood/parenthood and all that come with it can help calm the mind and fill your cup so you can keep pouring into those that count on you daily. Don't forget to take time for yourself this week and fill that cup up!
