📓 Junk Journaling has been moved to tomorrow night at 6:30 PM. Join Cindy for an evening of creativity, crafts, and laughter. It’s a fun and affordable activity to enjoy with friends or family!

🗓️ We’ve updated our September calendar and will be reposting it soon. We also have a public Google Calendar you can follow for the most up-to-date information about our classes and events.

I also want to share a personal update. I’ve been dealing with some significant back issues and will be traveling to Charlotte this week to seek treatment. Because of this, Friday’s Somatic Yoga class is canceled.

Many of you have asked how you can support me and The Soulful Collective during this time. The greatest way is simply to keep showing up. 💜

Attend a class, share our events, invite a friend, leave us a positive Google review, and tell us what classes or experiences you would love to see. And, of course, I would deeply appreciate your prayers as I work with my care team to find the right path forward.

I just got back from a few days in Knoxville at a seminar to learn a brand new modality called Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique (SMRT).

I have been hearing incredible testimonials from other LMTs about the instructor- Dawn Lewis and I agree that she is absolutely brilliant! I learned so much from her and she has a great way of making anatomy come alive! So much fun that I forgot to even grab a picture with her(I am the worst about remembering to get pics 😂)

I’ll link to some info about the modality below. It’s similar to positional release techniques, it’s very specific and when done correctly is incredibly effective at increasing range of motion and relieving tension! It also blends in really well with Craniosacral Therapy as it can be done clothed.

Really looking forward to adding this in to my sessions, I think you guys will love it 🫶

✅ First day teacher assisting for a Craniosacral Therapy seminar 🥳

It’s amazing to be going through this information in a whole new context, and facilitates an even deeper understanding of the material!

Long class days but it’s the best! And I stayed late to exchange with a fellow teaching assistant 😍

Because I expand my skill to treat YOU by getting treated myself!

And because I can always use more friends that want to nerd out about fascia with me 😂
