In FY2024, Ascension provided $2.1 billion in care of persons living in poverty and other community benefit programs. Charge into Fire Safety! 🔥🔋

During Fire Prevention Week, October 4-10, the Ascension St. Vincent Adult and Pediatric Burn Center is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to share an important reminder: safe charging starts with everyday choices.

Lithium-ion batteries power many of the devices we use every day. Simple habits like using the right charger, following manufacturer instructions and unplugging devices when they’re fully charged can help reduce the risk of battery fires.

Use your charging superpower and make smart choices every time you plug in! ⚡

More than 500 people came through the doors of Ascension St. Vincent Anderson for Medical Mission at Home, and each person came with their own story. 💙

From health screenings and preventive care to wellness services and community resources, everything was provided at no cost and no insurance was required.

For some, getting care can be difficult because of cost. For others, transportation, insurance or simply knowing where to turn can stand in the way. Medical Mission at Home helps remove those barriers and connect people with care and resources that can make a difference beyond the event.

More than 150 volunteers, including physicians, nurses, associates and community partners, gave their time to make the day possible.

Thank you to everyone who came, volunteered and helped make Medical Mission at Home such a meaningful day for Anderson. We’re grateful to be part of this community and committed to showing up when our neighbors need us.
