Carl Huffman, 84, passed away on August 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born February 19, 1942, Carl lived a life defined by hard work, kindness, friendship, and a willingness to lend a helping hand. He proudly served for four years in the National Guard and later retired from Delco Remy after 30 years of dedicated service.
Carl was a man who loved to work with his hands. A talented woodworker and an all-around handyman, he enjoyed building things, fixing things, and finding a way to make just about anything work. Whether he was working on a project of his own or helping someone else, Carl was always willing to lend his skills and his time. Throughout his life, he also gave back to others through volunteer work.
Anyone who knew Carl knew about his love for his vehicles—especially his red trucks. He took pride in the things he owned and the things he built, but it was the people in his life who mattered most. Carl had many friends and was loved by many. He will be remembered for his helpful nature, his hardworking hands, and the countless ways he showed his care for others.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Huffman and Anne Mills, and his brothers, Gary Dean Huffman Sr. and Steve Huffman.
He is survived by his brother, John (Sheilia) Huffman, and his sister, Sandy Huffman.
