Gentle Reminder:
If your heart is broken again, or more likely still, that just makes sense. There’s no judgment for having really uncomfortable emotions during a really uncomfortable time. Be gentle with yourself.

Some ideas just to help, but by no means suggested to help you to feel restored and grounded in the immediate:
Deep breaths
Contrast in temperatures
Shake your arms
Color
Hum
Weep
Hug someone
Pray
Light a candle
Use a scented lotion
Eat a sour patch kid
Create anything
Puzzles
Movement

We're nine days into the new year. You may have set some resolutions, maybe you didn't. Either way, you don't have to wait for a new year, new month, new week, or new day to establish a goal. You can set, alter, or change a goal on a random Friday in July if you so desire. Whenever you're ready is a great time! 🩵

It's that time of year when I unplug and step away from the office and my professional work for a couple weeks. It's my time to be nothing but present, connected, and anchored to myself and my people outside of work during this meaningful season. My deepest hope and prayer for you is that you can find some restorative moments that offer renewed energy for yourself as well.

GCC will be back to work on Tuesday, January 6th.
