Thinking Out Loud ☕️
For a long time, I thought consistency came from discipline.
Set the goal.
Make the plan.
Follow through.
And to be fair…
that approach got me pretty far.
But somewhere over the last five years, something shifted.
Not because I became more disciplined.
If anything, I already had enough discipline.
What changed was my relationship with movement.
Walking stopped being something I did to prove I was taking care of myself.
It became one of the ways I actually do.
Some weeks I walk every day.
Some weeks I don’t.
The biggest difference?
I don’t make missing a day mean I’ve failed.
I just come back to it.
Lately I’ve been wondering if that’s what sustainable change actually looks like.
Not doing something perfectly.
Not keeping an unbroken streak.
Just building a relationship with yourself that’s kind enough to keep coming back.
💛 I’d love to know…
Has there been something in your life that stopped feeling like another task on your to-do list…
and became something you genuinely wanted to return to?
