🎡🐷 THE GREAT IOWA STATE FAIR… CAME TO STORYPOINT ANKENY! 🌽🎠

Why fight the traffic? Why hunt for a parking spot? Why walk a mile just to find a corn dog? 😂

We brought the Iowa State Fair right to our front door! 🤠

Our community was buzzing with fair-day fun featuring:

🐷 An Animal Show where our staff traded their nametags for some VERY convincing blow-up animal costumes!
🎪 Carnival games and friendly competition
🌽 Sweet Iowa corn on the cob
🥓 Delicious pork lollipops
🍩 Fried Oreos
🍰 Fried Twinkies
🎡 State Fair decorations, music, laughter, and plenty of Iowa pride!

And of course… no Iowa State Fair would be complete without a little staff silliness. Let’s just say our animals were well-behaved-ish. 🐄🐓🐖😂

From the midway games to the fried treats, we packed a whole lot of Iowa State Fair magic into one unforgettable day. ❤️💛

What a week! Our residents at StoryPoint Ankeny packed their imaginary bags and took off on an unforgettable adventure around the world during our AMAZING RACE! 🗺️🏆

From continent to continent, our racers took on exciting challenges that tested their creativity, teamwork, and sense of adventure! 🌍🙌

🇯🇵 JAPAN — We put our skills to the test with the art of origami folding! 🏯🎏

🇪🇬 EGYPT — Our explorers became archaeologists during an exciting archaeological dig! 🔎🏺

🇵🇪 PERU — Teamwork was everything as racers tackled a challenging rope-tying challenge! 🦙🪢

🇲🇽 MEXICO — Things got competitive with our colorful bean bag piñata toss! 🎉🪅

🇬🇷 GREECE — Our adventure continued with an exciting Laurel Wreath Quest worthy of the ancient champions! 🏛️👑

And that was only part of the journey! ❤️

The laughter, friendly competition, teamwork, and memories made throughout this incredible event are what make life at StoryPoint so special. We didn’t just travel around the world, we did it together. 🌎❤️

⛳️🏆 FORE! IT’S TOURNAMENT TIME! 🏆⛳️

Our residents at StoryPoint Ankeny traded in their walking shoes for golf clubs and hit the links for an afternoon of putt-putt competition, laughs, and a whole lot of fun! 😎⛳️

We transformed our community into a mini golf course with 9 challenging holes, complete with a Pro Shop stocked with snacks 🍿, golf swag 🧢, and everything our golfers needed to feel like the pros!

And, of course… no tournament is complete without a LEADERBOARD! 📊🏆 Residents kept a close eye on the competition to see who would claim the title of StoryPoint’s Best Putter! 👀⛳️

From friendly competition to big smiles and plenty of laughs, it was clear that everyone came ready to have a GREAT time! ❤️

Some came to win. Some came for the snacks. Some came to talk a little trash. 😂 Either way, everybody left a winner! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

Ohhh yes — “Electric Blue Lemonade” is a perfect centerpiece for this one. I’d lean hard into the neon/nightlife vibe while keeping it warm and community-focused.

Things got a little BRIGHTER at StoryPoint Ankeny! ✨🕺🎉 Our Neon Happy Hour was glowing with good vibes, big smiles, great conversations, and a whole lot of fun! 🌈😎

And of course… we had to have a signature drink! 🍋💙✨ Say hello to our ELECTRIC BLUE LEMONADE — bright, refreshing, and absolutely glowing with flavor! ⚡🍹

From neon lights to happy hearts, this was one happy hour that definitely SHINED! 🌟💙

Kayla is excited to jump right in, get to know our residents, families, and team, and help continue building a community where people feel supported, connected, valued, and inspired to shine. 🌟😊

To kick things off, our Life Enrichment Director, Tanner Hurt, hosted a fun “Get to Know Kayla” event 🎉 — and brought plenty of smiles with a bright NEON JUMPSUIT that added extra fun to the celebration! 🌈😂

We’re so excited for this next chapter! Here’s to new beginnings, big ideas, lots of laughter, and making a difference every single day! 🥳🙌💫

🍦🥤 SIX+ FLOATS. ONE SERIOUSLY FUN AFTERNOON. 🥤🍦

Root beer floats? We took that idea and said, “Why stop at one?” 😋

Our residents at StoryPoint Ankeny got to enjoy a Root Beer Float Social featuring more than six delicious float combinations, from classic favorites to fun new twists. 🍨✨

But honestly, the best part wasn’t what was in the glass. It was the laughter, the conversations, the smiles, and the memories made around the table. ❤️

Because at StoryPoint, we believe the sweetest moments are the ones we share together. And judging by these photos… we definitely had a pretty sweet day. 😉
