We recently had a unique opportunity to collaborate with Iowa State University!

OT Supervisor Kelsie Leshen and OT Haley Austin participated in a recorded interview with Rachel Eike, PhD, Associate Professor in Fashion Product Development, as part of an Open Educational Resource focused on adaptive apparel. The resource will support graduate student learning and be featured in Iowa State University’s digital library.

Kelsie and Haley shared that it was such a fun and rewarding experience!

If your child repeats movie lines or long strings of sounds, they may be a gestalt language processor. These children learn best when you provide consistent scripts tied to specific activities. This helps them understand the meaning of the entire interaction at once. (via )
