10 years ago I opened the doors to my teeny tiny private practice. We’ve changed the name to Peachtree Wellness and continue dreams for growth in the future. I took a chance, I can’t believe it’s been ten years, I’m so happy with how it has gone, and I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years brings!

TFMR Awareness Day is a time to honor and recognize families who have experienced termination for medical reasons.

These are deeply personal healthcare decisions, made in the context of complex medical circumstances and profound love.

Today, we raise awareness, reduce stigma, and work to build understanding and support for TFMR families everywhere so no one has to walk this path alone.

We must continue strengthening awareness, compassion, and support for TFMR families everywhere.

If these 8 things trigger you, your childhood may still be affecting you.

Emotional triggers are not random. They often come from unresolved childhood trauma, past experiences, and unmet emotional needs. You might notice strong reactions to criticism, feeling ignored, fear of abandonment, or difficulty trusting others. These patterns can follow you into adulthood without you even realizing it.

Healing starts with awareness. When you recognize your triggers, you can begin to understand where they come from and how to respond in healthier ways. You are allowed to grow beyond your past.
