One easy, free, way to increase your mental health is through learning to breathe deeply!
Practice deep, slow, breathing! Inhale for a count of 4, hold for a count of 7, exhale with some force, for a count of 8. Do 3 times!
Slow, deep breathing, particularly when upset, can be a challenge, but can also, make a real difference in how your disagreement is resolved.
Practice is important because, often when we’re upset, it is hard to think clearly! Give it a chance! It can make a difference.
Put reminders in your phone or stick a post it note on your mirror or if you’re a parent, there’s a good chance you’re waiting in the car, put a reminder on your visor and practice while you wait. Good Luck‼️❤️
