Prior authorizations are basically us explaining to insurance why you need the medication your provider already decided you need.

Our support team gathers the records, submits the request, follows up, answers more questions, resubmits the same information, reviews denials, and advocates for your care.

We cannot control the insurance company’s decision or timeline, but we will keep doing our part to move the process forward.

An Emotional Support Animal, or ESA, can provide comfort, companionship, and emotional support for people managing certain mental health symptoms.

An ESA letter is documentation from a licensed mental health professional stating that the animal is part of a patient’s mental health support plan. It may be used when requesting a reasonable housing accommodation, such as living with an animal in housing that otherwise limits pets.

Patients can request an evaluation to discuss their symptoms, treatment needs, and whether an ESA letter is clinically appropriate for their situation. Schedule an appointment with the link in our bio.

Intrusive thoughts can feel alarming, especially when they seem out of character. But a thought showing up is not the same as wanting it, agreeing with it, or intending to act on it.

Intent usually involves choice, desire, planning, or action. Intrusive thoughts are often unwanted, repetitive, and distressing, which is exactly why they can feel so confusing.

Learning to relate to thoughts differently is often part of therapy for anxiety, OCD, trauma, and related concerns.

If intrusive thoughts are taking up a lot of space, support can help.

Distraction and dissociation can sometimes look similar from the outside, but they are not the same experience.

Distraction is when your attention shifts away from what you're doing. Dissociation involves a sense of disconnection from yourself, your body, your emotions, or your surroundings. While distraction is a normal part of everyday life, dissociation is often associated with stress, trauma, anxiety, or other mental health conditions.

Understanding the difference can help people better recognize what they're experiencing and find the support or coping strategies that fit their needs.

If these experiences are frequent, distressing, or interfering with daily life, talking with a qualified mental health professional can help.
