The American People are, in fact,
more precious than American Gold!

Don’t get distracted by shiny objects! What matters most are our human treasures! It’s imperative we value and safeguard them all.

And especially when it comes to food safety and our food supply chains. Drastic decreases in Federal funding have left states and localities suffering, dramatically limiting their ability to ensure public health standards are being met continuously. This translates into higher risk for already marginalized populations including small children, the elderly, people with chronic illnesses, and those being treated with potent medications which lower immunity. The first two fatalities in the recent Cyclospora outbreak in Michigan were people with pre-existing conditions. And this is only the tip of an enormous iceberg that grows more threatening by the day.
