This beautiful bride-to-be wanted to improve the quality of the skin under her eyes. She noticed extra, crepey skin when she smiled. She didn’t have heavy undereye bags, so we discussed an in-office procedure called a “pinch blepharoplasty” paired with CO2 laser resurfacing. We performed this procedure in the office using only local numbing. She has been sending photos of her bridal makeup, and she is stunning 🤍

We love getting your selfies! Professional photos are great, but patient selfies might be our favorite kind of update. There’s nothing better than seeing confidence show up in real life.

The sweetest patient presented with concerns about her heavy undereye bags and was looking for a refresh.

We discussed focusing on removing the eye bags with a lower blepharoplasty surgery and added a full face CO2 laser resurfacing to also improve the fine lines around her mouth and improve her overall skin quality — She looks refreshed and youthful!

She sent us a follow-up note about how pleased she was to be taken care of by an all-female team at our office and in the operating room. 🤍

Being a first-time Mom to twin boys took me from being “a little OCD” to “a lot OCD” in order to stay organized to keep these tiny humans alive.

I tracked how much they ate, peed, pooped and slept for over a year and had to coordinate their care with multiple care givers. I never made enough breast milk to feed them both, so I would measure each ounce to make sure they got the exact same amount and supplement with formula. 

It’s that same organization, attention to detail and sense of equity that I bring to my practice.  My boys make me a better physician, surgeon, and small business owner.

Ptosis vs. Heavy Eyelids: What’s the difference?
Ptosis is when the upper eyelid muscle weakens and the lid actually drops lower than normal. Heavy eyelids, on the other hand, come from excess skin or fullness weighing the lid down. They may look similar, but the cause (and treatment!) is different. If your eyes feel tired or uneven, a consultation with a board certified surgeon can help you tell which one you’re dealing with. 👁✨
