This Thursday in Gadsden. Free. And it might be exactly what you need.
June is a full month of self-care at the Gadsden Public Library and it kicks off this Thursday with a sound bath led by ME! Dr. Danielle Hall, founder of SoundEmbrace.
But that’s just the beginning.
Every Thursday in June at 5:30 PM, the library is bringing in practitioners who are doing this work at a high level:
🎵 June 4 — Sound Bath with Dr. Danielle Hall, PhD / SoundEmbrace Relaxing. Restorative. Science-backed.
💆🏽 June 11 — Partner Massage for Beginners with Katie Campbell / Gadsden Massage Studio Practical techniques you can actually use at home.
🧘🏽 June 18 — Chair Yoga with Barbara Hightower, Certified Yoga Instructor Movement and breathwork designed for work and home — no mat required.
🛡️ June 25 — Psychic Protection & Cutting Cords with Jason Kirby / Elysium House Healing Learn how to protect your energy and reclaim what you give away every day.
This series is part of Gadsden Reads 2026 — a community-wide initiative built around Build the Life You Want: The Art and Science of Getting Happier by Arthur C. Brooks and Oprah Winfrey.
Self-care isn’t a luxury. It’s the work. And this month, it’s happening right in your community.
