This athlete is currently progressing through rehabilitation after a chronic partial UCL tear.

Today's session focused on assessing throwing mechanics while continuing to build strength and appropriately load the shoulder and surrounding tissues. For throwing athletes, success is often about much more than the injured structure itself. Strength, movement quality, mechanics, and progressive workload management all play an important role in the recovery process.

Our goal is to help athletes safely return to sport while building the durability necessary to handle the demands of throwing.

To truly rebuild your shoulder after a rotator cuff injury, you need a clinical strategy that prioritizes the kinetic chain and biomechanics.

By utilizing targeted rotator cuff recovery exercises and precision loading, we help ensure your shoulder is the strongest link in the chain, not the weakest. From restoring scapular rhythm to mastering eccentric deceleration, each rep in our clinic has a specific purpose.

Stop settling for generic protocols and start a plan built on science. Check out our latest blog post for a guide to strategic rotator cuff recovery exercises.

One of the biggest mistakes we see throwing athletes make is completely shutting down throwing during the offseason despite being healthy.

For many baseball players, maintaining some level of structured throwing and continuing to play catch year-round is often a better approach than stopping completely and then rapidly ramping back up later.

The body adapts to consistent workload. Sudden spikes in throwing volume and intensity can become problematic when athletes go from doing nothing to trying to throw at full effort too quickly.

Structured progression and intelligent workload management matter.

This baseball player is currently working through a radial capitellar joint injury involving the outside portion of the elbow.

In overhead throwing athletes, significant compressive forces can occur at this area of the elbow throughout the throwing motion β€” especially during higher intensity throwing.

Current treatment is focused on managing symptoms, restoring movement quality, and progressively rebuilding throwing tolerance so the athlete can safely return to sport.
