We wrapped up National Skilled Nursing Care Week 2026 with a fun-filled Friday! 💐

From sweet treats provided by several community partners, to an ice cream social with the Butler County Dairy Princess, our day was full of smiles and celebration. We ended the week with a wonderful Family Night featuring food trucks, live music, games, and face painting for all to enjoy!

What a beautiful week of "Moments in Bloom" spent celebrating the residents, staff, families, and community that make Maple Manor Village so special. 💕

Day 3 was full of community! We loved welcoming everyone for our annual grill-out. Special thanks to Bloom Shake and Energy Bar for joining us and serving extra yummy drinks! 😋

We also enjoyed spending time with the afternoon Kidquest Preschool class working on a floral craft together. The visit wasn’t complete without plenty of cuddles with our baby chicks! 🐣 💕

Day 2 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week was themed “Let’s Get Growing!” 🌱🚜

This morning we welcomed Kidquest Preschool to help us enjoy a visit from farm animals - including a pony, goats, and chicks that just hatched here yesterday! 🐐🐥 This afternoon we hosted community BINGO and our friend, Mildred, won the beautiful hanging flower basket! 🌸

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone for our community lunch tomorrow from 11am-1pm! 😋

Day 1 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week is officially in bloom 🌸

Today’s theme, “Planting Seeds of Kindness,” was filled with lots of special moments, from our “garden party” dress-up day to painting flower pots for the beautiful flowers generously donated by Aplington-Parkersburg FFA & Ag Sciences

We also enjoyed a coffee bar and relaxing chair massages, both thoughtfully provided by Care Initiatives Hospice - Cedar Falls/Waterloo 💕

It was the perfect way to kick off our fun-filled week! Stay tuned for all the fun left in store!
