For 94 beautiful years, Ozell DeBose, Sr. blessed this world with his presence. Born March 9, 1932, in Ocala, Florida, to the late James DeBose and Mamie Lee Robinson, he lived a life rooted in love, family, faith, strength, and service. On August 28, 2026, he peacefully transitioned from this earthly life into his eternal rest.

He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great -great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Ozell lived a remarkable life rooted in love, strength, faith, service, and devotion to his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, answering the call to serve with courage, honor, and unwavering commitment. His dedication to his country reflected the same strength, integrity, and character that guided him throughout his 94 years of life.

He was a man who valued family, cherished the people he loved, and left an enduring example of strength, perseverance, and devotion. His life of service extended far beyond his military years- -it was evident in the love he gave to his family and the lasting impact he made on everyone blessed to know him.

Those Who Preceded Him in Glory
Ozell was preceded in death by his beloved children, James Everette DeBose and Gail DeBose, and his cherished siblings, Cora Jones, Emma Lee Richards, Eddie Mae Floyd, James DeBose, Lorenzo Bethel, and Rosetta Raines.

Those Left to Cherish His Memory
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving family who will forever...
