Meet Cathy Johnson, Assistant Director of Health Services at Boden Senior Living.
Cathy Johnson brings healthcare experience, organization, and a desire to keep learning to her role as Assistant Director of Health Services. Her background includes working as a support nurse, and she has developed strengths in areas such as accounting, taxes, financial statements, and compilations. Cathy enjoys expanding her knowledge and has set goals of continuing to learn new skills in human resources, regulations, and assisted living leadership. She values creating an environment that is organized, welcoming, and supportive for residents and team members alike.
Cathy believes that the little details can make a big difference in how a community feels. She enjoys helping create inviting spaces, making sure things are properly stored and organized, and contributing wherever she can to make the community run more smoothly. She is naturally curious and enjoys learning new things, whether professionally or through one of her many interests. Her combination of healthcare experience, attention to detail, and willingness to learn allows her to bring a unique perspective to the leadership team.
Outside of work, Cathy is an animal lover through and through—especially when it comes to dogs! Her pup, Annabelle, holds a very special place in her heart, and some of Cathy's favorite childhood memories include having a horse while growing up in California. She enjoys being outdoors, thrifting, jewelry making, coffee, pizza, candy, peanut butter M&M's, and anything with a little sparkle. Cathy loves Sanibel Island, Florida, and one adventure still on her bucket list is traveling historic Route 66. Whether she's spending time with Annabelle, hunting for a great thrift-store find, creating jewelry, enjoying a cup of coffee, or dreaming about her next adventure, Cathy appreciates life's simple pleasures.
