Please join us in welcoming Rado, our newest intern at Us 2 Behavioral Health Care! 💙

Rado brings over 10 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings, including schools, crisis support, juvenile justice, case management, and community outreach. His work has taken him from rural Wisconsin to Milwaukee, the Fox Cities, and Los Angeles, allowing him to connect with individuals from many different backgrounds and life experiences.

Rado believes that clients know themselves best and that therapy should be tailored to each person's unique needs and goals. Whether someone is looking for a safe space to be heard, support in navigating challenges, or practical tools for personal growth, he strives to create a comfortable, welcoming, and judgment-free environment.

With a flexible, person-centered approach and a little humor when appropriate, Rado draws from CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and family systems theory to support clients on their mental health journeys.

We are excited to introduce Emery, our newest clinical intern, who is now accepting clients! 💚

Emery believes that everyone deserves access to personalized, high-quality mental health care that recognizes their unique identity, strengths, and experiences. She takes a strength-based approach to therapy, helping clients build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward personal growth at their own pace.

Emery has experience working with individuals ranging from young children to college students and has a special interest in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. She is passionate about incorporating approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients navigate challenges and create positive changes in their everyday lives.

We’re excited to welcome Lyssa to Us 2, where she will begin accepting clients in mid-October!

Lyssa's approach to therapy is warm, present, and authentic, with a focus on creating a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and respected. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed, relational, and restorative approaches, recognizing that each person’s experiences are unique and that healing doesn’t always follow a straightforward path.

Lyssa has experience supporting individuals and families navigating concerns such as trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, life transitions, and relationship or family challenges. She also has advanced training and a special interest in working with couples and individuals experiencing complex or layered concerns involving relationships, trauma, intimacy, addiction, and personality dynamics.

We are so excited to have her joining our team and bringing compassion, knowledge, and dedication to the clients we serve.

She believes therapy is a collaborative journey and works alongside clients to discover the tools and strategies that best support their well-being and personal growth.

Her approach incorporates Strength-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), allowing her to tailor care to each client’s unique needs and experiences.

Julie has experience working with children and adults from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC communities, individuals with disabilities, and survivors of interpersonal and sexual violence.

Our Clinical Supervisor, McKenna Garvey, recently served as a panelist at the Wisconsin Doulas Association 2026 Conference, contributing to a mental health panel focused on supporting individuals and families in the perinatal period.

This year’s theme, Collective Knowledge, reflects the importance of lived experience, collaboration, and a shared commitment to improving outcomes for families. We’re honored to continue showing up, sharing expertise, and advocating for accessible, trauma-informed care in our community. 💛
