Today's YEMIG message comes from Taking the War Out of Our Words by Sharon Ellison. Oftentimes disagreements seem to descend into outright conflict and derogatory statements rather than being worked through to a mutually-agreeable conclusion. Let's learn about some options for addressing that regrettable habit.

I said this in my most recent podcast interview that I shared earlier this week. "We're human beings- not human doings."

What I meant by this is that you have value simply because you exist- not because of what you do. This is just your friendly reminder as you move through your day, career, interactions, relationships, etc.

Today's YEMIG reading is based on the words of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, SJ who was a Jesuit priest in the early 1900's. I'll do a little historical dive on him at the beginning of the reading, then share one of his prayers which is very thought-provoking. Join me!

Today's YEMIG video stems from Tosha Silver's Outrageous Openness, in a chapter by the same name. It suggests traveling while invoking Divine Right Order and Divine Right Timing to smooth your travel path. Check it out!

When people think about wellness, they often think about exercise, nutrition, sleep, or stress management.

Far fewer people stop to consider their spiritual wellbeing.
I'm not talking about religion.I'm talking about connection.

Connection to yourself.
Connection to your values.
Connection to a sense of purpose.
Connection to something greater than yourself.

In my experience, when we're disconnected from those things, we often feel it everywhere else. We may feel restless, stuck, overwhelmed, or like something is missing even when life looks "fine" on paper.

Recently, I had the opportunity to join Linda Golik on the Emplify Health podcast to talk about spiritual wellness and the role it plays in our overall health and wellbeing.

We explored how spiritual wellness influences mental, emotional, and physical health, along with practical ways to cultivate more meaning, alignment, and connection in daily life.

I'd love to hear your perspective:
What helps you feel most connected to yourself and your purpose?

Today's YEMIG card comes from the Sacred Forest deck by Denise Linn. It's entitled, "Wise Woman of the Grove: Grace" and calls for us to be present in joy. Many of us feel like joy is non-existent given life's current struggles, yet joy resides within each of us, waiting to be activated with our thoughts.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes we don't fall apart during the difficult season?
We fall apart afterward.

During the challenge, we do what needs to be done. We show up, solve problems, care for others, and keep moving forward.

Then one day, when the immediate crisis has passed, we finally have enough space to feel what we've been carrying.

I've been reflecting on this lately and revisited an article I originally wrote years ago. What struck me is how timeless the message still feels.

Sometimes what looks like "falling apart" is actually an invitation to pause, recalibrate, and honestly examine what's working in our lives and what isn't.
What if the discomfort you're feeling isn't a sign that something is wrong?
What if it's a sign that something is ready to change?

I explore that question more deeply in this week's Substack article.

Today's YEMIG post is about Trusting Your Intuition and the card comes from the Grace Cards deck by Cheryl Richardson. When we are willing to trust our intuition and act on that inner guidance, the Universe responds by opening doors to assist us in fulfilling our life purpose.

Today's YEMIG reading is about transformation and transmutation! The card, Phoenix: Transmutation, comes from the Sacred Forest deck by Denise Linn. It's about releasing our old, tired self to transform into a wild, free, new self. We are entering a new cycle and it is time to become vastly different than we have been.

Today's card is the River of Blessings: Releasing Constraints card from the Priestess of Light deck by Sandra Anne Taylor and Kimberly Webber. It's about breaking through limitations, whether perceived or real, whether self-imposed or imposed from without, whether long-standing or relatively new in your life.
