Our staff decided the sweetest way to celebrate was by making homemade doughnuts. Nothing brings people together quite like a little creativity, teamwork, and a whole lot of sugar! 😋

At Appomattox Health & Rehab, we have the privilege of caring for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia every day. We see firsthand the challenges that residents and their families face, but we also witness incredible strength, resilience, and love.

Our residents are more than their diagnosis. They are parents, grandparents, veterans, teachers, and friends who have lived remarkable lives and continue to deserve dignity, compassion, and meaningful connections. Alzheimer's affects not only the individual but entire families, making support, education, and research more important than ever.

Participating in Walk to End Alzheimer's is our way of honoring those we serve, supporting their loved ones, and helping advance the search for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Every dollar we raise represents hope for a future where no family has to face the heartbreak of Alzheimer's disease.
