The Art Behind the Boards week closes Sunday.

If you have been watching and wondering — this is the path calling you.

A commissioned board is made for you. Your inner self, your desires, your connections to something deeper.
It is a tool and a piece of art at the same time, and it is built around your particular way of asking, your way of being, your way of thinking.

Reach out before Sunday and we will start with a conversation. That is all it takes.

People often ask what actually goes into a pendulum board.

The honest answer: more than you might expect.

Each one is built up in layers — collage, paint, hand lettering, found imagery. The symbols are not always cognitively chosen, but always have meaning that strikes a chord after the fact.

I work on wood.
I work my word maps on paper, deciding which words to use for which Boards.
I seal everything by hand. No two boards are the same, because no two people are asking the same questions.

If you have ever been curious about what a board could hold for you — this week is a good time to ask.

Every pendulum board I make begins the same way — with three questions from me, true.If you want to know what I ask, message me and I will tell you.More importantly though, there are questions from you. Ask yourself what you want to know. What does my heart want me to know? What lessons keep am I repeating in life? How do I perceive myself as myself and not as others see me. That is where the board starts. The imagery, the symbols, the layers — all of it grows from that first honest question.

This week I am opening the door to the process. Come and see what goes into the making — and if something stirs, reach out. There is no pressure. Just a conversation.

Let's talk about your heart and your mind and what you need to do to balance the two using my special form of readings. I will go into some of the details of how I create, and read others who are open to speaking their truth to a small audience.

I'll speak a little of my truth right now and open the gate. I can be incredibly focused, but also incredibly impulsive. I can be gentle and compassionate at times, but I spend a lot of my time lost in the world of thoughts.

Below I've posted an old picture, my skill level might not have been up to par but I am feeling the need to be vulnerable right now. I would like to connect with my cousin on the pendulum, this picture was drawn after a particularly vivid dream I had of him.

Oh, and it's my birthday today. I'm 48. I've breezed past that midlife point it seems. I think they define midlife differently now thought that we live to be so old.
