Itâs easy to get caught in the comparison trapâmeasuring your life, your progress, your appearance, your career, or your accomplishments against someone elseâs highlight reel.
But comparison often creates unrealistic expectations. We start believing we should be further along, doing more, achieving more, or handling life better. And when reality doesnât match those expectations, stress, anxiety, and even depression can begin to take hold.
Your journey doesnât have to look like anyone elseâs.
Instead of asking, âAm I as good as them?â try asking, âAm I growing from where I was?â
Maybe yesterday you took one step. Today, you take another.
Progress doesnât have to be dramatic to be meaningful. Give yourself permission to grow at your own pace, celebrate small victories, and remember that becoming a healthier version of yourself is not a competition.
Focus less on comparison. Focus more on progress. You only have to be better than the person you were yesterday. â¤ď¸
