It’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and if you didn’t know already — poor sleep isn’t just a symptom of mental health struggles. Poor mental health can also lead to sleep problems. The two often go hand in hand and can impact each other in ways many people don’t realize.

Anxiety, stress, depression, and burnout can make it harder to fall asleep, stay asleep, or feel rested. At the same time, ongoing sleep issues can affect mood, focus, energy levels, and overall mental well-being. It can become a cycle that’s difficult to break without support.

If you’ve been struggling with fatigue, restless sleep, loud snoring, or waking up feeling exhausted, it may be worth talking to your doctor or getting your symptoms checked out. In some cases, conditions like sleep apnea may be contributing to the problem.

The good news is that there are solutions available, and treatment can make a meaningful difference in both sleep quality and overall health. If you’re diagnosed with sleep apnea, we can help connect you with insurance-covered treatment options and supplies.

If you're seeing any of these signs, it's time to reevaluate your sleep health.

Ask yourself:
❓ What's keeping me from a good night's sleep?
❓ Are there any habits that are contributing to my lack of quality sleep?
❓ Is keeping my current habits worth compromising a healthy mind for?

Better sleep sometimes starts with self-accountability. The moment you begin to address what needs to be addressed, the sooner you'll be finding yourself waking up in a better mood, with more energy, and ready to conquer the day ahead.

Your sleep affects everything — your energy, focus, mood, and health. If something feels off, don’t wait to get your symptoms checked out. And if you’re diagnosed with sleep apnea, we’re here to help with insurance-covered treatment options. Visit https://aeroflowsleep.com/qualify-through-insurance?utm_source=organic_social_media&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=23889_organic_social_media&utm_content=web for more info.

Are you a victim of saying the following? ⤵️

"I'll just catch up on sleep later"
"I'll just sleep in this weekend since I didn't get enough sleep this week"

We've all been there. The truth is, though, you technically can't catch up on lost sleep. In fact, it can take up to 3-4 days to recover from just ONE hour of lost sleep. What we recommend you do is to just get back on track.

Losing sleep or consistently getting poor quality sleep can take a hit on not just your physical health, but your mental health as well. This can look like:

➡️ Having increased stress
➡️ Dealing with mood swings
➡️ Pre-existing mental health symptoms getting worse

If you're having trouble sleeping at night, it's important you speak to your healthcare provider to make sure you get the care you need.

Ruling out underlying health issues, such as sleep apnea, can make all the difference for your health. Sleep struggles in general can feel frustrating, but you don't have to do it alone. If sleep apnea has been affecting your rest, it might be worth exploring your options.

Visit https://aeroflowsleep.com/qualify-through-insurance?utm_source=organic_social_media&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=23889_organic_social_media&utm_content=web to see if you qualify for CPAP supplies through insurance. 💙
