Going back to work while breastfeeding comes with a LOT to figure out. Where and when you’re allowed to pump shouldn’t be one of them.

Under the PUMP Act*, most nursing employees have federal protections, including reasonable break time to pump.

Before your first day back: talk with your employer about where you’ll pump, how breaks will work, and where you can safely store your milk.

Save this for your return to work, or send it to a pumping mom who needs it. 🤍

*Certain employees may be exempt from these federal protections. State or local laws may provide additional protections. Visit the U.S. Department of Labor for complete information about your rights under the PUMP Act.
