Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory

Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory We are a full service Funeral Home and Crematory serving the Southern Oklahoma area since 1889 As a local family business, we shared their grief.

Most everyone in Carter County is familiar with our company and the service we provide. Over the years many of our neighbors have called on us to plan funeral services for a special friend or beloved family member. As funeral directors, we understand the importance of dignity, reverence and support during the time of need. Our hope is that we have succeeded. Today we are still fully owned and managed by the Douglas family. We have no outside owners and it is our intention to stay this way.

Every Detail Matters. Every Life Deserves to Be Honored.
No two lives are the same, and no service should be either. Whether through a visitation, funeral service, or graveside gathering, meaningful moments are created when family and friends come together to celebrate a life, share memories, and find comfort in one another.
We are honored to help families create services that reflect the unique story of the person they love.
What is one personal touch that made a funeral or memorial service especially meaningful to you?

Helping Children Navigate Grief with Love and Understanding
Children experience grief differently than adults, and their questions, emotions, and reactions may change from day to day. Honest conversations, patience, and reassurance can help children feel safe as they process the loss of someone they love.
Sometimes the most important thing we can do is listen, answer questions with care, and remind them they are not alone.
What is one piece of advice you would share with someone helping a child through a difficult time?
