Open Arms Family Medicine, P.C. We created this clinic as a way to improve the health of families in Ardmore. We see people from birth to end of life and all stages in between.

Dr. Wilson sees newborns and kids and delivers babies at Athens Hospital. My name is Robyn Wilson, and I have had the pleasure of practicing full spectrum family medicine in Ardmore, TN for 4 years and then Athens, AL for 1 year. I will be returning to Ardmore, AL in December to continue treating the people of Ardmore. I have 4 children who many have probably seen running all over Ardmore. I also

have a wonderfully supportive husband who keeps us all together. Along with our wild crew of children, we have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 lizard, several chickens, and bees that roam around. I can't wait to start being involved again in the community we get to call home.

Since some of us are rapidly approaching middle age, this was a good reminder found during an online coarse this week.

Middle aged women with less than an hour of exercise a week had a 52% increase in all cause mortality and a 29% increase in death from cancer.

After celebrating our countries 250th Independence Day, I was reminded how blessed we are to have a place like our Ardmore Veterans  Museum. There are great people taking care of it. If you haven’t been inside, you are missing out. It is full of the history of our country and the history of our community. It is open on Sunday afternoons, and everyone should check it out!

I guess it is time for me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Robyn Wilson, and we decided to open this clinic in December 2024 mostly because we love Ardmore (Alabama and Tennessee side), I am passionate about rural medicine, and I wanted to work and be invested in the same community that I live in. I graduated from medical school in 2016, residency in full spectrum family medicine in 2019 and moved to this area in 2019. During that time, my husband and I have celebrated having five children that are wild and crazy and wonderful. I see adults, children, babies, and deliver babies at Athens Limestone Hospital. 

Thank you to everyone who has supported this dream over the last 1.5 years and who has invested in me and our family. I am so blessed to have a job I genuinely enjoy every day.
