Did you know Harvest Counseling & Wellness offers more than counseling?

We also have a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist & Eating Disorder Specialist and a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner on our team.

Mental health isn’t one-size-fits-all. Sometimes healing means talking with a counselor. Sometimes it means improving your relationship with food. Sometimes medication can be a helpful part of treatment. Often, it’s a combination of approaches that helps people feel their best.

Having these services in one place makes it easier to receive coordinated, comprehensive care without having to search for multiple providers.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, eating concerns, trauma, mood changes, or simply don’t know where to start, we’re here to help you find the support that’s right for you.

You don’t have to figure it out alone. Bring your burdens, bring your hurts.

Being a good parent isn’t about controlling every outcome. It’s about learning when to step in and when to step back. When to encourage and when to simply listen. When to protect and when to allow your child to experience the natural consequences that help them grow.

Every stage of parenting asks something different of us. There are seasons when our children need us to tie their shoes, remind them to brush their teeth, and help them solve every problem. Then, almost without warning, those same children begin making decisions on their own. They start driving, choosing friends, applying to colleges, accepting jobs, building relationships, and eventually creating lives that belong to them.

As parents, we often carry the weight of wondering if we’ve done enough. Did I teach them what they needed? Did I love them well? Did I prepare them for what comes next?

The truth is, healthy parenting has never been about preventing every mistake. It’s about raising children who know they are loved, who can learn from failure, who know how to ask for help, and who have the confidence to keep moving forward.

To the parents preparing to send a son or daughter off to college in the coming weeks: this transition is hard because it represents years of love, sacrifice, and investment. It’s okay to feel proud, excited, and heartbroken all at the same time. This next chapter isn’t the end of your role as a parent—it’s the beginning of a different one.

And to the parents watching a son or daughter get married and begin a family of their own: few moments are more bittersweet. You spent years helping them become the person they are today. Now you get the privilege of watching them build a home, make their own traditions, and write the next chapter of their story. Letting go doesn’t mean loving them less. It means trusting that what you’ve poured into them will continue to shape their lives.

Wherever you are in your parenting journey, remember this: your child doesn’t need a perfect parent. They need a parent who loves them, shows up, and is willing to grow alongside them.

Many parents come to us asking one question:
"Does my child have ADHD?"

Getting an accurate diagnosis can bring clarity, but it's only the first step.
After testing, families often need practical strategies to navigate homework, emotional outbursts, organization, routines, and school challenges. That's why we believe ADHD testing works best when it's paired with parent coaching and counseling.

At Harvest Counseling & Wellness, we help children understand how their brains work while giving parents the tools and confidence to support them at home.

If you've been wondering whether ADHD testing is right for your child, we're here to help.
