Doing laundry. Cleaning the house. Chasing kids. Mowing the yard.
That’s movement. It’s not the same as training.
And no—your daily activity does NOT replace the corrective exercises your physical therapist prescribed.
Your body needs more than movement. It needs the right movement, at the right dose, for the right reason.
Chores keep you busy.
Training builds capacity.
Corrective exercise addresses the specific deficits keeping you from moving and performing the way you should.
So yes, keep moving around the house.
But don’t confuse being busy with training your body.
