Arlington Addiction Recovery Initiative Arlington (VA) Addiction Recovery Initiative (AARI) is a community wide group working to combat addiction and the opioid epidemic.

AARI is focused on providing community education, prevention and treatment resources, and sharing data.

🌟 Day One = a huge success! 🌟
Our 4th Annual AFAC‑AARI Spring Into Action Week is off to an incredible start!
We are so grateful for our amazing volunteers 💙 Thanks to their passion and dedication, we had hundreds of meaningful conversations with our neighbors and trained 85 people on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose.
This work matters—and we truly couldn’t do it without our volunteers or our partnership with
📍 Join us at AFAC all week during food distribution!
Our AARI volunteers will be there:
🕘 Mon–Fri: 9am–1pm
🌙 Tues & Thurs: 6–7pm
☀️ Sat: 8:30am–12:30pm
Stop by our tent to:

✅ Learn about Harm Reduction
✅ Donate food to support AFAC 🍎🥫
