In a conversation with Charlotte this week we were discussing her years as a midwife. Her journey began when she was just 18 years old, and she has now been a licensed midwife for 39 years, attending in home, birth center, and hospital settings. She has attended over 4,500 births, including families where she helped 3 generations of women welcome their babies.
When I asked for pictures to make this post, you all flooded me with so many pictures that I took down the request about 12 hours later to avoid getting overwhelmed!
Charlotte has been a blessing to so many families and mothers, including myself.
It's easy to see how much Charlotte loves this work, and how that love will keep her showing up for many more years!
