Reverend Olórí Galé Fáṣọlá Jones Chief, Ilé Olókun Ati Egbe Iwa Pele is a distinguished spiritual leader, Christian pastor, and Yoruba/Ifá priest-practitioner and a published author. Her life’s work bridges ancestral wisdom and contemporary ministry. As an experienced Senior Pastor and Chief of Ilé Olókun Atí Ẹgbẹ Ìwà Pẹ̀lɛ́, she embodies the ancestral mandate of “not either/or but both,” blending the sacred teachings of Odù Ifá with the transformative power of Christ Consciousness to cultivate a heart-centered path of wholeness. Her lifelong work aims to bring people from the margins to the center. She uses spirituality to ignite and maintain a sense of wholeness.
For decades, Reverend Jones has served as a spiritual midwife, community advocate, and interfaith bridge builder throughout the New York Metropolitan Area. Her leadership includes partnerships with HIV/AIDS organizations, domestic violence programs, LGBTQIA+ civil and human rights groups, and juvenile justice initiatives. She has designed and facilitated workshops and retreats on Faith and Medicine, women’s health, trauma work & spirituality, and weekly programs for sexually exploited girls and LGBTQ+ youth in juvenile detention as well as a summit for formerly incarcerated women.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, she is the eldest of three siblings, a mother, and a grandmother. She was educated in Philadelphia’s parochial school system and earned her BA in Economics from Immaculata University. Reverend Jones was ordained as a Deacon in 1994 and as a Reverend in 1999 through the Unity Fellowship Church Movement. As an Olórí, her journey in IFA started with Òrìṣà initiation in 1997.
Reverend Jones stands in her calling not to convert, convince, or correct, but to accompany. She helps others give birth to wisdom, courage, and destiny already living within them, leading others not to herself, but back to the divine voice within.
