This month, we’re highlighting DPC Patient Ambassador Pesh Patel, whose kidney journey has inspired him to speak up for dialysis patients and advocate for stronger patient protections.
After receiving a kidney transplant in 2018, Pesh returned to dialysis in 2024 following transplant rejection. Today, he’s using his voice to advocate for legislation that would help protect dialysis patients’ private insurance coverage.
Pesh’s story reminds us that patient voices can drive change. 💙
