We promised to Never Forget. So, here is what I remember about September 11, 2001:

I had just graduated from college and had taken a job with the American Red Cross in Washington DC. I watched this horrific tragedy from the office of America’s most trusted disaster relief agency, in the heart of the nation, and one of my most admired places on the planet, Washington DC.

I watched on TV as the second plane hit the World Trade Center in New York City. I had no idea how my life would become deeply connected with the events of September 11. Today, I have the privilege of working with veterans and their families.

Although, we all have our own story to tell about September 11, 2001, we all, as a country promised to Never Forget. I want to invite you to joining us in our upcoming FREE event When History Calls, Leaders Answer in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of this tragic event. We will be screening the American Sons film, a powerful movie that reveals a rare and tender expression of brotherhood, proving the courage to heal can be as profound as the courage to fight. Let's answer this call together!
