So you have plantar fasciitis? Let me give you some tips and basic information of this pesky and painful condition! Plantar fasciitis occurs when the fascia that supports our foot’s arch becomes inflamed. This can be incredibly painful and left untreated can cause other underlying issues throughout the body! Massage is a fantastic treatment option as we can work on the foot as well as the gastrocnemius and calcaneal tendon (also known as the Achilles tendon). These two tissues have a direct connection to the plantar fascia of the foot and should not be ignored! Sound like something you’d like worked on? Contact me and we will get you in the schedule!
