Can we actually reverse our biological clock?

That’s the question explored in a recent NewsNation interview featuring Dr. Jacob Rosenstein, neurosurgeon on the medical staff at USMD Hospital at Arlington.

A practicing neurosurgeon since 1985, Dr. Rosenstein has spent decades studying not only the brain and spine, but also the factors that influence how we age, perform and feel. His personal journey into age management has led him to explore the relationship between biological age, nutrition, exercise, hormones and overall wellness.

In this interview, Dr. Rosenstein shares his perspective on the science behind biological aging and what he believes may be possible when we take a more proactive approach to our health.

A fall led to an unexpected diagnosis—but also early detection and a better outcome.
Gary’s kidney mass was found incidentally, and with the expertise of Dr. Scott Thurman and single-port robotic technology at USMD Hospital at Arlington, he was able to undergo minimally invasive surgery and get back to the activities he loves.
“Dr. Thurman is the greatest surgeon on the planet… and I was back to golf faster than I expected.”

According to Dr. Andrew Sun, urologist with Urology Partners of North Texas and surgeon on the medical staff at USMD Hospital at Arlington, three main things can happen to the prostate. It can become inflamed, enlarged, or develop cancer.

One of the most important things men should know is that prostate cancer often does not cause symptoms in its early stages. That’s why routine screening is so important.

Dr. Sun encourages men to talk with their physician about prostate health and ensure a PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) test is included as part of their annual wellness exam when appropriate.

Early detection can make a significant difference.

Watch the video to hear Dr. Sun explain what every man should know about prostate health and prostate cancer screening.

In honor of Men’s Health Month we asked the question…..What would one urologist tell every patient if he had the chance?

According to Dr. Andrew Sun, a men’s health urologist with Urology Partners of North Texas and a surgeon on the medical staff at USMD Hospital at Arlington, many health concerns can be improved by focusing on the fundamentals of overall wellness.

His advice is simple but powerful: prioritize a healthy lifestyle by maintaining a healthy weight, getting adequate sleep, managing stress, and staying physically active.

While every patient and condition is unique, Dr. Sun believes these healthy habits can create a stronger foundation for better health and improved outcomes.

Watch the video to hear Dr. Sun share why taking care of your body is one of the most important investments you can make in your health.
